What we do

Six services, designed around dignity.

We start with what your family needs most — and grow the care plan as life changes.

Personal care

Bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility help — done with patience and privacy.

Companionship

Conversation, meals shared, errands, walks, and the small things that make a day feel like a day.

Skilled nursing

RN-supervised medication, wound care, vitals, and post-discharge follow-through.

Memory care at home

Trained dementia and Alzheimer's care, structured routines, and gentle redirection.

Post-hospital recovery

A safer return home — transportation from discharge, room setup, meal prep, mobility.

Respite for families

When you're the caregiver and need a real break. Hours, days, or planned weekends.

How we match

A real match, not a roster.

Most agencies send whoever's free. We don't. Every family gets matched to two or three candidates with the right skills and temperament, and you pick.

  1. 01
    In-home assessment

An RN visits, reads the room, listens carefully.

  2. 02
    Caregiver shortlist

Two or three caregivers introduced by name and background.

  3. 03
    Trial week + check-in

First week is no-questions-asked switchable. We adjust until the fit is right.

Our caregivers

People who'd care for their own parents.

Every Linden Hearth caregiver is background-checked, certified, and continually trained. Most have been with us for over four years.

Families

The reviews that mattered to us.

"Mom went from refusing help to asking for Maria by name within a week. Whatever they're doing in the matching, they're doing it right."

Sarah K.
Daughter, Princeton

"After Dad's hip surgery I was a wreck. The RN they sent the first morning made our discharge sane."

David O.
Son, Cherry Hill

"Respite care every other Saturday gave my marriage back. I cannot say that loudly enough."

FAQ

Questions families ask first.

Are your caregivers employees or contractors?+
Employees. Every caregiver is a Linden Hearth W-2 employee — that means we handle workers' comp, payroll taxes, and the legal accountability that comes with it. Families never have to act as an employer.
Do you accept long-term care insurance?+
Yes. We bill most major LTC carriers directly and handle the documentation. We also work with Veterans Aid & Attendance benefits.
What if my loved one doesn't like the first caregiver?+
First week is no-questions-asked switchable. We re-match without paperwork and without making anyone feel bad about it. Fit matters more than schedules.
How fast can care start?+
If you call by noon, an RN can usually be at the home for an assessment that afternoon, and care can begin the next morning. Urgent hospital discharges, same day.
Are you licensed?+
Yes — licensed by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs as a Health Care Service Firm (HCSF), bonded, and carrying both liability and workers' comp insurance. Certificate available on request.
Is there a minimum number of hours?+
4 hours is our minimum visit. Most families build a plan of 4-8 hour shifts, several days a week. Overnight and 24-hour live-in care available.
